In order to best assess your potential claims, and to assist in preparing to answer you and your Community’s questions, Casey & Skoglund’s attorneys will ask you for documentation related to your home. These documents include, but are not limited to:
- Materials related to the marketing and sale of your home;
- The closing documents for your home, including inspection reports and property disclosure statements;
- Invoices, work orders or reports of any problems with or repairs to your home;
- Warranty booklets and enrollment forms;
- Your Homeowners’ insurance policy;
- All correspondence between you and the Developer, Builder and/or Contractor; and
- Your Association’s Covenants, Bylaws, Rules, Regulations (also known as CC&Rs).
Please note, not all of the documents are necessary for consultation, but may become necessary should you wish to pursue your claim.
