Casey & Skoglund’s ultimate goal is to ensure each homeowner and commercial building owners gets what he or she bargained for.

We assist Homeowners, Associations and Commercial Owners with construction related problems. Some of the common problems encountered include, but are not limited to: water penetration at windows and sliding doors, improperly sloped and waterproofed decks and walkways, problems with installation of exterior cladding, including building paper, vinyl or aluminum siding, stucco and/or EIFS, improper venting and roof installation, and mold. Unfortunately, this is only a partial identification of problems commonly experienced by Homeowners, Associations and Commercial Owners.

It is the nature of construction defects, and a common occurrence, that where a problem rears itself, we are merely seeing the tip of an iceberg. After initial identification of a problem, it is important to quickly discover the source and extent of the problem. This is where Casey & Skgolund comes in.

Our Firm works with a number of experts, including structural engineers, architects, waterproof consultants and other construction professionals. We work as a team with individual unit owners, condominium associations, property managers, commercial owners and our team of construction professionals to discover the extent of a problem. Upon determination of the depth of a problem, we work to determine the scope of repairs necessary to bring a development into compliance with the Uniform Building Code and industry standards. At the conclusion of the investigation process, our legal professionals work to procure payment for the necessary repairs and reimbursement for investigation costs. After settling these issues, we continue to work with the homeowner, property manager and/or commercial owner to facilitate the construction repair process. This additional support helps to make our Firm unique.
